I purchased the Hoover Max Extract Dual V along with the Hoover PETPLUS 2X Cleaning Solution. I wanted to use the Platinum line of solutions, but they weren't listed in the recommended solutions for my new machine. I didn't have high hopes going into this adventure. I've used carpet cleaning machines/solutions in the past and haven't been impressed. I just cleaned all of my carpeted rooms and area rugs...and I am impressed. My carpets smell fresh and look brand new. It tackled a couple of tough pet stains that I was unable to get rid of with spot cleaning. The scent in the solution didn't irritate my dogs sensitive noses either. Understanding that this is not a professional grade cleaning solution, I would highly recommend this product to pet owners.

I bought this with my Hoover MaxExtract 60 PressurePro Carpet Deep Cleaner, FH50220 hoping to rid my carpets of pet stains. While it did a okay job, I could still see spots and detect odor. After doing more research I decided to try another solution. I ended up with another hoover product,Hoover Platinum Collection Pet Plus Carpet-and-Upholstery Detergent, 50 Ounces, AH30035, it may cost more but it's a better solution. After just one pass with it the odor was all but gone and the stains were lessened drastically. After a few more passes I could hardly tell that I ever had a problem. Had I kept up using this solution continuously I think it would have eventually broke down the problem areas, but by the time it would have I'm sure I would have gone through most if not the whole bottle. I'll keep it to use in between bad accidents until it's gone but after that I'll just get the platinum collection.

Really glad we found this cleaner! Worked like a boss on some older stains we could not kill, and did fabulously on newer stains. Easy to use & manuever!
