I love this product and hang it in basement and never use a dehumidifier this works fine.
Also works well in closets that are kept shut, and walk in closets off bathrooms and keeps the dampness out and makes the area dry and fresh.
It just smells clean and fresh. I would never be without, one might be surprise the dampness it takes out of the area it is hung, I would highly recommend using them and will never be without having them
Warning - do not use hanging product near clothing

Product is prone to leaking and will leave an oily residue that does not clean out of most items. Do not use near clothing or hang over carpet.

We use them in closets and they work great. Very nice aroma. Wish they were a few dollars less expensive.
