does not fit; too tall

Unfortunately, this filter does NOT fit my Eureka 4235 upright. DCF-21 original Eureka filter is shorter than this replacement. I trimmed off the "loop" handle but the filter still does not fit. The difference is visible when the replacement filter is placed next to the original; replacement is taller.
A bit of a mystery as all other reviews here indicate that fit is not a problem.
So, this may be unique to my Eureka model.

This is nice to have as you can wash it out as needed. This is important to save on cost. The only thing I found is the loop handle is too high for my unit and I had to snip it off to make it fit.

They fit exactly into the vacuum and despite a couple of rough washes they haven't fallen apart yet. Changing the filter made my vacuum much more efficient too.
Product was deliver on time and included extra instructions just in case.
I will be ordering from this company again.
