I get a little skeptical when ordering electrical parts, but this electric range burner was priced low enough that I thought I would give it a shot.
This burner has a slightly lighter finish than the original part, but nothing that would make it a deal breaker. It plugged right in and worked like a charm. It even fit a little better than the original burner.
I plan on buying the rest of the burners from this supplier very soon!

Burner fits exactly and works well. Color is a slight bit different from OEM units still in service but who cares.

I suspect that these things are sourced from a variety of Chinese manufacturers. The reviews here are pretty consistent that "they fit", but in my case, they were WAY off. The frame extends well beyond the recess in the burner pan -- so much so that I had to bend each of the supports to get it to drop in. Once they dropped in, I discovered that they rock on the connector axis due to the bottom of the supports (the ones that are 60 deg to the CW and CCW of the connector) are relieved about 1/8" on the bottom for no apparent reason. The elements that these replaced didn't have, nor require, this relief to fit securely. So to minimize the rocking, I had to bend the bottom lip of the hole in the reflector pan to provide clearance for the rod. All in all, not a great experience.
Will they all be like this? Who knows. But since this is a 30 year old range top that's had a number of (high priced brand name) replacement elements installed without any problem at all, I tend to blame the design and construction of the elements I got.
Like the 6" elements, these are shipped in a poly bag without any protection for the electrical contacts. Of the four elements I bought, three of them had bent contacts due to handling. They could have been easily and cheaply protected with a simple cardboard sleeve.
Since they weren't horribly expensive, and the 6" elements I bought at the same time (apparently sourced from the same Chinese manufacturer) fit perfectly, I'm going to put up with the poor fit and ad-hoc rework on the elements and pan.
