The water and ice from the dispenser was beginning to taste funny. I inserted a new filter and the bad taste disappeared immediately. Easy to install. Sure wish they lasted longer and weren't so expensive.

There was only one filter in the package when the illustration showed two. The price for one was excessive. I bought one locally at Home Depot for about half the price.
