Such a simple thing - but when we bought our house the cap was missing from the fridge filter and changing the filter became a dreaded, lengthy, involved hassle.
I don't know why it took so long for me to search on Amazon...but I'm glad I finally did.
No more pliers, wrenches - or cursing :)

Needed a replacement for the original, which cost 10 times as much, so I decided to be color blind and go for grey instead of black. Fits like a glove paired with new pur filters found here on amazon. If it bothers me in the long run spray paint.

I brought the water filter cap as a spare in case the original cap breaks. It works just like the original. I can't figure out why a small plastic cap cost as much as $14+.
