Air filters only work if made to be the exact size. this thing had about 1/4" + gaps on top and bottom. Not good for a so called HEPA filter.

I own a Bissell Cleanview Helix Model 82H1. This replacement filter is close to the original but the size is off a little. The width is exactly the same (roughly 2.1875"), but the height is slightly smaller by about 1/8". I put some foam tape on the edge, and it fits a little better.

My only complaint about the two Bissell vacuums that we own would be that the filters need to be changed a lot. This one had pretty much turned a dark brown/black color on the inside so I was glad that I had finally gotten around to replacing it. It seems to help with the dust in our home, which is an old and dusty house. We also have a cat so we have extra pet dander. This, along with keeping the other filters replaced regularly, keeps the vacuum up and running. You can sure tell a difference with a new filter!
